GARDEN HOUSE STORE at CIAL Yokohama, directly connected to Yokohama Station, will be selling the new Nasu brand confection "Butter's Cousin" from June 15th (Tue) to July 18th (Sun).

Last year, we had a popup sale here, and it was a huge success, selling out every day. This popular brand, also well-received at popups around the country, returns to Yokohama this year.

About "Butter's Cousin"

"Butter's Cousin" is a French regional pastry known as "waffle," jointly developed by Chus, who operates guesthouses, markets, and restaurants in Nasu, and Morino-Makiba, highly acclaimed for its Jersey cows grazing in the forest and their rich milk. Supervised by PATH's owner patissier Yuichi Goto, it was born. It features milk jam made from skim milk with a rich butter-scented waffle dough. It's a new confection from Nasu that offers three textures: fluffy, crunchy, and creamy.

Inside the butter-scented waffle (waffle) dough, there's a rich milk jam made from skim milk. It's a delightful confection with three textures: fluffy, crunchy, and creamy.

In making delicious butter from the milk lovingly produced by Nasu's dairy farmers, over 90% of the milk becomes skim milk and is sold as skim milk powder at a low price. By enhancing the value of this skim milk, we aim to create a "three-way goodness" cycle that brings smiles to producers, tourists, and locals alike.

Currently, there is a waiting list of approximately five months online, and the product sells out immediately at events across Japan, gaining enthusiastic support from celebrities and other prominent figures, thanks to its sustainable approach. The store is located just a short walk from the central entrance of CIAL Yokohama, directly connected to Yokohama Station.
